When I was out and around the state the other day I had the chance to meetanother old meat cutter, Tim Purcell a 30 year man, Market Manager for Food Lion in the city of Varnell, Ga. He spent a lot of his years in Atlanta, Ga. with Winn-Dixie there.
i wonder what he thinks of del-haize, food lions parent company from belgium, food lion has been going thru some major restructuring- one of their recent past presidents, i use to work for 25 years ago
hopefully, things are going better for the company- i read where many food lions closed a couple years back
