I've seen unions go both good and bad for employees. I never much cared for the union cause in some cases they drag their feet or make demands too high for store owners to be able to operate profitably and the store go under and you lose your job all together. I have also seen where unions in some cases have increased benefits and pay for their members. Guess it really all depends on what kind of union leaders you got running your union.
