New Merchandising idea.  Do you think using this label would encourage some customers to buy?

I think it would cause some people to buy it, and also cause some people to not buy it.

However, it would be fun to recommend beer and a cigar (I don't like either) as a serving suggestion at stores where you get in trouble if you don't make a suggestion.

I had someone ask me which was better Polish or Sweet Italian Sausage? I noticed he was holding a case of beer so I pointed to one and said "this one goes good with beer" and he bought it.

Yep, I'd use it. I was putting it on signage 25 years ago.
