Vintage Butcher Charts Posters Meat Pork Beef Lamb Wilson & co antique
Hello, Here are 3 vintage Wilson & co butcher charts featuring Pork - Lamb - Beef cuts. They are all in very good shape and in the original shipping tube. The colors are vivid and all three 22.5" x 34" charts have the metal ring attached for hanging. Tops and bottoms are protected with stiff metal bands and the paper is a thicker quality stock. These would display very well in frames and attract a lot of attention.
These charts come along once in a while individually, but rarely all 3 in the original shipping tube! Thanks for looking....... Only US Shipping
I can believe they are worth that much. However in this economy most people are not willing to pay what they are worth. If they are truly vintage and that can be confirmed then I would have no trouble believing they are very collectable and valuable. Of course alot of stuff like that can be easily faked. I would be wary about buying something like that over ebay.
If they weren't reprints I would love to have them in my computer room but I'm to cheap to pay that much for them lol
I'm 100% sure they aren't reprints. fdarn was only speculating on the possibility. They even have the original mailing tube! How cool it that? I think that if someone wanted to fake an item of that kind, they wouldn't do it a meat chart. They would do a valuable poster of some kind. A rare movie or concert poster. Something worth several thousand dollars.
I don't agree with the value. I'd say $300.00 would be a generous offer and a good deal for the seller. But that's just a guess.
The item didn't sell with that $799.00 opening bid. I bet if it had started at zero there would have been a few bids, but probably sold for less that $200.00.
I wouldn't be afraid to buy that item from that seller. It's genuine I'm sure and the seller has perfect feedback. I looked at the other items he/she has sold. There's nothing to worry about with this particular seller.
$800 bucks?!!! I agree that would be awesome to showcase but I don't know of any cutter with pocket change like that ...well, that's not true. I do but that's cause he still lives with Mom and Dad. Lol!
