This story is a year old but makes me wonder if this was a young store manager popping off at a old meat man. then again could have been a old drunk. either way a bad out come.
CENTER POINT, Alabama -- The stabbing death this morning inside a Center Point grocery store happened in the butcher shop as a supervisor was talking to an employee about his job performance, said Jefferson County Sheriff Chief Deputy Randy Christian.
The victim, who died at the scene inside Food Giant of Birmingham from his injuries, was the supervisor, Christian said. "He had counseled the suspect about work performance yesterday and apparently today they had an argument culminating in the suspect stabbing the victim to death," he said.
The 26-year-old victim had worked at the grocery store for one and a half years, Christian said. The suspect, age 50, had worked there three months, he said.
yeah, it those bring your point up for question there Leon.. ME, what i done was,, IF.IF someone I thought wasnt helping in the meat room. I sometimes had a very hard time hitting the bone barrow.
This is a sad story, sounds like where jimhenry use to work.....rough neighborhoods
maybe the store manager picked a package of not so fresh meat out of the meatcase, and threw it on the bench..
Or maybe they don't provide enough help and at the same time tell him he needs to do more work. AND he's already giving free time. AND about 40 other things I could list. Of course none of that would justify murder.
