This was a question I got today in a letter, I can't answer it, Can you?

Dear leon, i'm looking to get back into the meat cutting field, problem is..... nicotine swabbing, are all unions now swabbing?

What the heck is nicotine swabbing? Does that mean you cannot be a union member if you smoke?

I believe it has to do with health insurance rates. You smoke, you pay more.

Hello, I do not know about Nicotine but they do drug testing. So be careful

My employer just instituted a program requiring us to declare our tobacco status.  If you decalre yourself tobacco free then your insurance goes up about $50/month next year.  If you don't make that declaration then your insirance goes up about $100/month next year.

Obama Care I believe it is true ! tobacco is a exclusion, it is not a disease

Hardly a Obamacare thing insurance companies were testing for nicotine in blood and urine samples before Obama was even president.

Hi there mate, In England employers don,t worry if you smoke, you have to go outside the cutting unit on brake time for a smoke

other tha that thier grateful to find a good meat cutter that knows his job!!
