Wagyu beef

Does anyone handle Wagyu beef? It is an american Kobe style beef raised in California, and as expensive as Japanese Kobe beef.

We started carrying a couple of items IE New York Strips which we sell the steaks for  $59.99 lb. Also they gave us an incentive to buy sirloin tips (knuckles) which we merchandise into roasts and ground sirloin at $8.99lb.

I find the meet is very tender, and buttery tasting. Also the shelf life is very good on the products. They raise their cattle for 850 days, and to a weight 0f 1700 lbs.

No problem selling the ground beef, as  a couple  of resteraunts in our town sell Kobe burgers for $15.00.

RE: Wagyu beef

I'm actually having a sample wagyu tenderloin for lunch as I read this. My community is well to do, but not sure how well I can sell tenderloins for $70/lb which is what I would have to get for these.
