NC Choices announces a call for nominations for the NC Local Meat Awards to be presented at the 2nd annual Carolina Meat Conference
These awards will be presented to North Carolina based meat producers, processors, and food professionals whose business practices exemplify innovation, leadership, and integrity in the local and niche meat industry.
Please submit your nominations in the following categories:
Producer- meat producers who own and operate farms in NC and market local and niche meats. Processor- NCDA or USDA inspected processors who continually strive to provide high quality services in a professional manner. Food Professionals- Chefs, retail shop owners or other food professionals who have demonstrated a commitment to local and transparent sourcing of meats raised and processed in NC, including carcass utilization techniques that directly benefit producers.
