very interesting , thanks for posting!! Clarence Saunders, founder of piggly wiggly, is given recognition of creating the "supermarket"
in 1918- many specialty departments under one roof,,, tho king kullens, is given much credit for emphasizing the loss leaders to get customers thru the door in the 1930's

now who is the genius who started selling turkeys below cost?????????????? that guy should be hung!!


demand goes up, and the industry sells it below cost--,, just brilliant we are!!!
