Big Beef and RJ  you two say you wish you could get here more often, TELL the truth now, you two have got like me, to old to multi-task 10 things at once lol Ya'll slowing down !!!  ya'll done got old, before long you will be getting Grouchy like the old man here. lol

I have never put rules on this site for the 11 years it's been online, We are grown men and women here, we know how to be considerate of others and use common sense, I've never had a problem here where I had to send anyone a e-mail telling them to chill out, nor have I had to delete anyone. We have all got along and been respectable to each other. BUT I have finally reach a point about people joining us and not filling out their complete sign up form.

Many of you have bought a friend here or told someone about the site that has join, I appreciate that. BUT if you tell anyone else about the site,PLEASE tell them about this message that is below the new member sign up form.

 
 
WELCOME to the MEATCUTTERSCLUB, We want you as a member !! We want you to enjoy and interact with other meat cutters or meat industry people here.

PLEASE fill out all questions ask on our sign up form and your e-mail must be valid,  Homepage can be  http://www.meatcuttersclub.com/ ,  your shop link, your company link, face book page or personal page.
 
Your bio can just be how long you been a meat cutter or in the meat industry, what companies you have worked for or at lest the last two. Anything else you wish to add about yourself and your meat cutting career is up to you. We have many members here that try to find friends through bio's and the company they work for.
 
We are a brotherhood of meat cutters and enjoy the friendship of other cutters from around the world, So let us know about you.
 
FEEL FREE to have a Avatar, One is not required, but PLEASE no nudes or ones that will cause a problem

i feel the same way . I would like to know who is actually a member of the club and who is just a name with no info taking up space. You are not asking alot. Most online clubs would ask for more. Alot of people will join the group and have nothing to do with meat they just want to spam the board with ads. That is why its important to get info to clarify that they are indeed meat professionals or interested in meat and not just looking for a place to spam. So far we have been pretty fortunate with no real spammers (although there were one or two that I noticed a while back) By making this requirement to fill out the forms fully you are not just insuring that we have real meat people in here you are also protecting the rest of the members from spam and annoying messages. Smart move.

I want every member we can get but I have found that MOST people that want fill this form out don't interact with us. I have never place any rule for how often you have to post anything or reply to anything, My outlook is come when you want, post or reply if you want, come look, read and enjoy the Club. If I see a member hasn't been around for a few months I will write and check on them to see if they are ok or if there is a problem here that I can do something about.  But I don't see what good it does us to have a lot of members if some join but never come back. The majority of those that want fill out the form is usually those that join and never come back. If they going to join and not come back, don't waste our time or jack up our membership with members that never come around.

Guess i'm getting to be a Grouchy old man  lol

you are not being grouchy..... you are a proud owner who wants his club to be the greatest success it can be
I love interacting with everyone here, just wish I had more time to do that

I agree with Joe. This is a great site, wonderful and informative club. There is nothing wrong with asking someone for the common courtesy to inform the rest of the club a little bit about who they are interacting with. And like Joe with I had more time too. Keep up the good work Leon!

Grouchy? Who you callin GROUCHY? Must be Joe, I know you aint talkin bout me! Grouchy..........I'll tell you who is grouchy..........guy cant even post on a relaxing sunday morning without someone calling him out........

I am not old yet Grandpa!!!!

I wish I could be here more often but teaching 4 apprentices, getting a new grocery store up and running, opening a few restaurants, looking for new locations, competition shopping (why I don't know, no one could compete with us)is keeping me away from home and here
Mama and the children want some of my time too

You're lucky I love you Cowboy.........

Ok now that I got that out of my system

I really am just too busy to be here as often as I want to but I want everyone else to know that if Cowboy sees a topic that people are asking for help with and he knows it is something I can help with, he emails me to get off my duff and get here to help

Never met someone with the kind of dedication Cowboy has so yes there should be a rule that if you are going to be a member of the club, we should be able to know who you are and where you work, and you should at least come here every so often to check in

I love the interaction and advise I get here and I am supposedly an expert in this field and yet I still come here

Yes Cowboy your right and Im sorry I dont seem to have the time to be on here like I would love too.. Ive been sooo busy between this store getting busy kids and life in general. But this club means alot to me and I will pass along the info to any new members I tell about the club
