I think this is a good thing for us to do, it would give us meat cutters more exposure to the new generation of customers, plus you know if you make the kids happy, momma will have to come shop with you some. for over 30 years I use to keep candy in my coat pocket to give every kid I saw, a good way to talk to momma about meat. their mothers use to tell me when she said we going to the grocery store they always said, we going where the candy man is. I've glad I never got stuck with that name lol
I like the ideal to. I use to get differ women groups to come in and tour my market, would show them a cut or two. I got a lot of customers from that. some I kept for years, some even fllowed me when I went to another market if it wasn't to far. I had two that would travel together 17 miles so they could buy from me.
Leon , as far as trying to keep the kids happy by giving them sweets/candy,over here we have to be careful not to over step the mark , this can be taken the wrong way by the parents, and trust me they will make an issue out of it.
I've been to the meat hook and met tom mylan they don't have a big show case bit they keep it really fresh. It is the place I would love to work or work to make like
