-NC Choices

Hello everyone,
After much debate I have decided to sell my MPU due to downsizing and lack of
willing help. The unit is a 12' trailer with a 4' tail, app 5ft wide deck.
There are 3 jacks on the trailer and 2 on the tail for leveling and stability.
The equipment is from Eli Reiff, " Poultryman " There is a s-41 scalder, plucker
and inline 6 kill cones. Eli's current price for those 3 pieces is currently a
little over $6,800.00 . All are high quality stainless steel. Unit also includes
stainless steel table, 2 food grade chill tanks, propane tank, hoses and
sprayers, and a turkey deep fryer which is used for heating water for shrink
bags. I also have some knives that would go with unit. This unit cost over
$9000.00 total to put together , was used 2 times a week during the summer, and
has only seen 4 seasons of use. It was garage kept during the off times. I am
selling it for $7000.00 OBO . I am located in NJ. I will post pics here if I can
figure out how to, otherwise I can send them email.

RE: Poultry Mobile Processing Unit for sale

I am interested. I live in Chicago, so I would have to work out a time to come and get it. I would like to see the pictures, however, but it seems like a good price. I have seen them up close and personal, but have never worked them. Some other cutters and I were trying to come up with a design, but were stuck on a few issues of having enough room to process and finding willing farmers to let us process. We're still looking into the IL state laws to see how we could sell them by direct market and small retail.
