we have a section here on the site called,

Nominate your Meat Cutter of the Month

this was something that fdarn & I thought would be nice to give a co worker a little recognition and a " PAT " on the back for his work.

we have had this for months, have let every one know about it through our e-mail, face book and twitter. YET not one person has nominate a meat cutter for this section.

My dumb question is, Don't any of you have a co worker you would like to give a " PAT " on the back to ???

all it takes is a picture of him/her, a little back ground on him/her, company name.

a cell phone picture would work, just send it to my phone, 706-537-6344

We have several great cutters who are also great workers. I think they'd be embarrassed if they were cutter of the month. It would be hard to live up to and they'd be teased about it for a long time.

I find it funny that we want to promote interest and passion in our trade but are un willing to nominate our young and upcoming cutters for an award that may build self esteem and a sense of value to them. In a world where raises and praise from the higher ups is hard to come by the higher ups, this award might be the only recognition that they get other than a thank you or a good job from us as market managers, come on we all know somebody who would like a little recognition from their peer group! Nominate someone....
