The reason I haven't been around much for the past week and a half is I have enroll in some online College courses,
It's a Kaplan University advertising & communications course. Which includes Grant Writing, something I need because I would like to get a grant for the club so we could send young men and women to a meat cutting school. I'm in the slow process of trying to get a meat cutting course added to the Culinary dept at Georgia Northwestern College now. So for the next 9 weeks I want be here all the time like I have been. These classes takes about 6 hours of my day, so that has cut me back a lot. I still have a ton of e-mail every day, posting to Facebook, Twitter and phone calls. If for some season you need me, e-mail me at apcowboy@hotmail.com or call, text me, 706-537-6344
Leon, I believe each state has an apprenticeship director part of the department of labor- I met with this guy a few yrs back when I was trying to do something similar- he helped alot- and actually had a very descriptive outline of a meatcutter job description this guy was an administrator- he knew some strings to pull, and was good at presentations-had all the equipment I could use for free- If your state has one of these director of apprenticeships, he/she may jump at the chance to help you
Ok sorry guess there is one more in Shelby Ohio also, but m ine was the best New Philadelphia Buckeye Career Center. Scott Ripley is the teacher I had his dad Ray Ripley.
