Stuff I heard on the radio.

I listen to the radio every morning and heard that beef (red meat) is bad for you.

A U.S. finding apparently, that if the cattle has been raised on grain do not come up to the mark on human health.

Again I don't mean to have another go at the supermarkets, but that's how their farm animals are fed, for maximum yield in the shortest time limit.

Most independant Butchers have a system that allows them to trace their product from birth ,to what is been fed on.

I for one know my cattle are out on the pastures/fields and have no worries, yet not for joe public that get a bee in their bonnet at any media story and stick to it hence lack of beef sales.

Ironiclay I have just this minute sold 8 sirloin steaks.

I saw a link to the story on the Internet yesterday. Didn't even read it. Without reading it I respond by saying:

"half of everything we eat keeps us alive. The other half kills you"

author of quote unknown to me.
