Had a hippy/veggie come in to the shop the other week asking me to put up a poster in the window (or where ever I wish to put it. "Sorry I don't eat meat but can you put this poster up in your window?" "That's ok", I said "as you don't eat meat I suppose you like tossing the salads then"? "Oh yes", she said ."we can't get enough of those greens".
We get A LOT of people coming in saying that they are buying a particular cut for their significant other, and when I ask how they are going to cook it they will tell me that they are a vegetarian/vegan and that they hate meat. I always respond that nobody is perfect - I usually get a laugh.
