Any one ever heard of this one, freak me out when I saw it

Filet Mignon on the Bone

Roast or grill filet mignon on the bone. It can stand in for boned filet mignon (filet steak) or bone-in strip loin.

Thats a diffrent way of merchandising a filet... I think I like mine boneless. LOL Where did you find this pic Saw Lady?

We had a few customers several years ago that would have us cut those for them. Funny part is we had to charge nearly as much for those as we did boneless. I have not cut one for a couple years now.

jee i don't know that is interesting. seems kind of pointless to me but i guess it can be done easily enough. i do like the way the fat is on it,. the picture kind of makes me think of a snail. don't see how it can stand in for a bone in strip though  thats on the other side of the bone.

a fellow co worker of mine went to a shop that cuts strictly for resturants and he had to do them all the time...he says i guess it is huge in the west coast...I don't know that what he told me
