We do alot with the deli, we help each other out, Just this week they had some new pretzel buns and we put them above our hamburgers and they sold very well. We build displays in the end caps and theme them, this week Breakfast, BE express sausage and we have eggs in there with them and some bacon thats on special... I think its a must to help total store and gives poeple meal ideas.
great ideal femalecutter96, I like that. grocery has a bunker case they hardly ever keep full, I think I'll try to talk them out of it for this week and do a egg, bacon, sausage and smoke sausage display. you watch, they see me moving stuff and they will want it back lol
Our store is real departmentalized. Very little communication or cooperation between departments. I've mentioned some ideas in the past--like a bakery dinner roll display in front of our sliders or deli sushi in our fish case but I just get blank stares.
Meat,deli.fish and bakery.....well pies and pasties oh and bread rolls/baguettes. Though I going to have to cut down as there is far to much paperwork involed.
