you guys with the meat shops may want to give a thought to, " Is this something you could merchandise and make a few dollars more " I think if I had a shop where I could make these raw and give the ladies something new I would give it a shot.
I know in my area here in the south I have never seen any of these in stores or shops, may be something to give you a upper hand over your competition.
Here in Wisconsin we have a few shops that make family size pot pies. I'm not sure if they are making them from scratch, I kinda doubt it. I have made a few, not from scratch but they have been accepted very well by my customers. I use one of Boars Head brand chicken lunchmeats cubed into bit size pieces for the meat but the best part is the crust! I found a company that still uses lard when it makes the pie shels. Cant beat good ol lard!
