delmonico steaks

I just read an article that apcowboy posted re. primal cuts.

in the article boneless chuck eye steaks were referred to as delmonico steaks.

In north eastern Ohio we have always sold boneless rib-eye steaks as delmonicos.

is this a regional thing?

Im in your region too and you are right on Sausage maker. I saw you worked at the West Side Market! That place is so cool, I just went there last year and I could wander that place all day. Really neat old fashioned meat stands still running. I love to just listen to the rip of the butcher paper coming from like 5 different directions! What an experience to have worked there.

Big Beef - I looked up your store on the net. Impressive! Next time I get down in your area I will have to stop in and see your store. Great prices! Can I get some of those $5.99 tenderloins?! Thats like a gift to your customers, I am sure they appreciate it
