certain things that would send the meatcutter into a fit..........

1. not rotating the case and finding outdated product because of it.

2. the person the previous night not cleaning saw /grinder parts good.

3. not having back up cut on his day off.

.................just saying anyone else care to chime in?

uh huh..every single one of those things happened to me yesterday.. yesterday sucked probably my worst day in years. i had to empty the case of meat outdated by one and some of them by two days and then i found out there were no grinds done in the cooler. and the saw wasn't put back together there was a silly note sitting on it about how they couldn't get some part on so i had to do it.

I thought my back up guy called in sick or soemthing but no he was actually there...what the heck??

Not making BAck up Sliders and Patties our working marinated and smoked meat sections realy gets me going. Then I walk into the cooler and they didnt rotate the load, By then my blood is boiling. But then they bring me a coffee and Dounut and I calm down LOL. And I explain to them How important it is for everyone to do there job so things run smooth.

This isn't an issue where I work now, but it has been in the past at a previous workplace.

A person in charge who writes a big cutting list that includes many things we don't need while at the same time leaving off things that we do need. Such as ad items that we're out of. Things that you must cut list or not and then the next day him being mad that you didn't do certain things (Why? because we ran out of ad items, etc.). It goes back to an old post I made in the old MSN group Leon started.

"it's not what you did, it's what you didn't do"

They are always mad about what you didn't do rather than noticing what you did do. You might cut a complete line up, but then he'll be mad that you didn't clean a floor drain.

Managers who leave early and then can't figure out why he's in bad shape the next day.

Yes I sgree, with all those things!  Don't ya Love it when shoppers Esp. Woman put their cart right up against the case, where you are about to fill a hole, and they leave it there just to go to the other end of the case, and spen time there of deciding wwhat  they want.

I don't know about you guys, but we have these super long carts designed as a car for kids, they take up about 8ft of space, and yes I have seen shoppers park those also tight up against the case, taking up a good 12ft including their big butts trying to decide what to pick up, Damn!

Having to fill out too many company paper work charts before starting cut production. New Regulations & paper work, are becoming ridiculous!!.

Filthy bloody hard plastic trays for speed racks, Ignored by support team, for stacking and cleaning daily

Restriction of beef and pork on the same table

Yes there is far too much paper work for HACCP for my liking, years ago we didn't have all this to do and life was alot simpler.
Ah! the good old days.
