Tyson Fresh Meats Inc. announced Tuesday a new line of vacuum-packaged, pre-seasoned beef products for the retail meat case to give consumers convenient meal options.
The new Backyard Flavors line features ready-to-cook beef sirloin tri-tips that boast a “just off the grill” taste in three flavor varieties: Steakhouse, Peppercorn, and Santa Maria.
The line features leak-proof and clear packaging that includes basic cooking instructions and a cutting guide.
“The Backyard Flavors line enables retailers to add variety to their meat case and meet the increasing consumer demand for simple meal solutions,” Kent Harrison, V.P. of Marketing and Value Creation at Tyson Fresh Meats, said in a news release. “These easy-to-prepare beef products are perfect for busy consumers who don’t want to sacrifice quality or flavor.”
Backyard Flavors products are part of the company’s "ibp Trusted ExcellenceSpecialty Cut Meats"program, which specializes in creating beef and pork products to meet diverse customer needs.
